Culinary Argan Oil Culinary Argan Oil

In Morocco, culinary argan oil is considered a pantry staple.  Not only is it delicious with a light nutty taste, but it is also good for you as it is full of Vitamin E and fatty acids.

Culinary Argan oil can also be used as a dressing over food before serving, it's delicious on salads or when stirred into soups, couscous and soups.

For a delicious Tomato and mozzarella salad, follow this simple recipe 

argan mozarella salad

Serves 4

Ingredients

  • 3medium juciy tomatoes 
  • 12lb mozarella cheese 
  • 12cup torn basil leaves 
  • 3tablespoons Culinary ArganOil 
  • 4teaspoons balsamic vinegar
  • Handful of cashew nutes
  • Salt and ground white pepper to season

Preparation

 

  • Cut up the tomatoes and mozzarella into large cubes.
  • Add basil leaves and drizzle w/ vinegar and olive oil.
  • Stir lightly.
  • Sprinkle with a little salt.
  • Chill at least one hour.
  • Store in refrigerator.
